MEDICINE MAY NEVER RECOVER

Film Synopsis

Code Blonde! Meet Kelli Newton and Randi Salk, two gorgeous, ambitious blonde doctors who hate each other out of jealousy, form an unlikely friendship when faced with the boss from hell! At the outset of the film, the two doctors are indeed “blonde,” making every rookie mistake possible and inspiring the wrath of their boss, the Chief of Surgery, Dr. Magnus Brewer, an old-school, male chauvinist sexist.

Combine “Legally Blonde” + “The Hangover,  and you’ve got “Blonde Doctors.” After putting aside their differences, the two doctors unite to take down their corrupt, menace of a boss. Hilarious antics ensue in an all out bionic blonde battle to the apex of the medical field. There’s no stopping this buxom duo from reaching the top, as they restore dignity to blondes everywhere.

The medical field represents a confluence of technology, industry, and humanity. It is an industry that seeks competitive, dedicated individuals who must learn to navigate often choppy waters to succeed and excel at salvaging and improving human life.

In a historically male-dominated industry, women have slowly but surely forged their way into the field, creating more opportunity for themselves and other women, often by force of sheer will, tremendous ambition, and the pursuit of excellence.

It is my sincere hope that telling this story of navigating friendship amidst the rocky course of ambition through the use of comedy can inspire young women to foray confidently into the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) arena. Furthermore, the underlying message of female friendship and the support network it can provide, is also a point of emphasis.

Through top-level Hollywood talent, the comedic story of two struggling blonde doctors eventually leads to the ultimate female triumph after exposure to sexism and harassment, an issue that has proven relevant in the current zeitgeist.
